Tony Rongstad, PE
Director of Electrical Engineering / Operations Manager / Eau Claire Office
Tony is a highly effective business leader with over twenty years of sales & management experience in the fields of electrical distribution, engineering, and information technology. He has excellent project management and leadership skills with proven ability to complete projects on time and within budget. Tony also plays a key role in directing MEP’s Electrical Group with an innovative and supportive management approach.

Joshua K. Hinson, PE, LEED AP
Senior Mechanical Engineer / Operations Manager / Madison Office
Josh is a professional engineer with 9 years of experience ranging from the development and coordination of mechanical systems design, performing energy analysis, conducting retro commissioning activities, to validating system operations through measurement and verification. He works diligently to determine the best solutions for his clients and is committed to quality engineering. Josh strives to implement the latest technologies that result in fully functional system operations, reduced maintenance and operating costs, and overall client satisfaction.

Brandon Schmidt, PE, LEED® AP
Mechanical Engineer / Operations Manager / Twin Cities Office
As a professional mechanical engineer, Brandon has a wide range of experience on all phases of mechanical engineering projects. His responsibilities include the design of mechanical systems, coordinating the mechanical design with the other design disciplines and with the owner, overseeing the preparation of the mechanical construction drawings, preparing the mechanical construction specifications, and observing construction. Brandon is dedicated to exceeding the client’s goals in design, schedule coordination, cost control, and team management.
Education/Degrees - Brandon earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University. He is a registered professional mechanical engineer in Minnesota.

Lee Tapper has over twenty-five years of Mechanical Design experience in the design and delivery of sustainable systems that integrate and complement the architecture of the facility. He is recognized for innovation in engineering with a special focus on energy efficiency. Lee is invested in the long-term success of each building and communicates with clients long after construction is finished. He oversees the entire design process and makes certain that the mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, and architectural designs integrate into a functional whole.

Michael Luster, PE, LEED® AP
Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager / Rochester Office
Michael serves as a Lead Design Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager with focused expertise on energy efficient sustainable systems design. He provides thoughtful and thorough mechanical engineering design defining the proper environmental conditions while stressing safety, energy efficiency, and functionality for each unique facility or campus. He is skilled in communicating technical issues and providing solutions to clients. Mike also serves as a resource for facilities staff and project administrators, providing data about economic benefits of different equipment assisting with sound project and budgeting decisions.

Operations Manager / Norman Office
Since joining MEP Associates in August 2007, Art has managed over 150 projects in educational, commercial, and government markets. Art oversees day-to-day operations, manages projects designed in the Norman office and coordinates Oklahoma projects with MEP design teams in the Eau Claire, Eagan, and Rochester offices. Art is also responsible for site investigations and coordinating projects with clients.
Education/Degrees - Art earned a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Oklahoma.
