PROJECT MANAGER - MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
A progressive and growing consulting engineering firm, MEP Associates, LLC, with multiple office locations throughout the US is seeking a Project Manager – Mechanical Engineering to join their team in their office located in the Norman, OK area. MEP specializes in the design of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and geothermal systems.
We are currently seeking a project management level Mechanical Engineer with the following qualifications:
- Mininum of 5 years experience in mechanical systems design for commercial building applications
- Well-versed in the design of multiple HVAC system types
- Familiarity with HVAC codes
- Fluency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Oklahoma. Candidate must be able to obtain professional licensure in other states.
Candidate must have the following skills and abilties:
- Design of mechanical systems and project management to oversee preparation of construction documents and specifications
- Ability to work cooperatively in a positive, professional manner with in-house design staff as well as interface with other engineering disciplines, architects, owners and clients
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, take initiative and follow through on tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to grow with the company and accept new challenges
